近日，中西醫爭論的“戰火”燒到了中醫診脈驗孕這個話題上。有人愿出5萬獎金發起挑戰，懸賞能準確診脈驗孕的中醫。
Doctor who does not believe in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has offered 50,000 yuan reward to any TCM practitioner who is able to predict pregnancy with 80 percent success rate just by checking the pulse, according to a metro newspaper in Chengdu on Monday.
成都一份地鐵報紙周一報道稱，一位不信中醫的醫生拿出5萬元獎金，尋找僅診脈驗孕準確率達到80%以上的中醫。
診脈即check the pulse或feel the pulse，診脈驗孕即predict pregnancy by checking the pulse。這位醫生稱，如果中醫能準確診脈驗孕，他承諾一輩子不再說中醫是偽科學（pseudoscience）。一位具有20多年中醫從業經驗的中醫師接受了該項挑戰，并豪擲20萬擺擂對西醫進行反挑戰（offered 200,000 yuan as a counter challenge against Western doctors）。
