經濟：大衰退
事件回放：國際貨幣基金組織稱此次經濟危機為Great Recession。此前，歷史上影響最深遠的經濟危機為1929年至1933年間的全球性經濟Great Depression（大蕭條）。
在本次經濟危機中，各國紛紛采取經濟刺激措施，貨幣發行量大增，尤其以美國為代表。這種央行直接向市場注資的一種貨幣政策手段稱為quantitative easing（定量寬松），其實就是央行開動印鈔機器的一種委婉說法。

定量寬松 quantitative easing
