朋友聚會的時候，有人說了個笑話，可只有幾個人相視而笑，其他人都面面相覷，不知所以然。這種情況大都是因為那個笑話跟他們幾個人都知道的某件事有關，所以只有他們才能明白其中的可笑之處。這種笑話就叫做in-joke。

In-joke （也叫inside joke或in joke）是只有在同一個社交圈子、職業或者思維理解方式一致的群體內才明白的幽默，即“圈內人的幽默”。只有那些了解事件背景的人才能明白其中的幽默之處。
For example:
We have an in-joke; whenever someone sings a wrong note, they wipe the mistake off their music with an obvious gesture.
我們內部有個搞笑慣例，每次有人唱錯了，他們就用一個特別明顯的手勢把這個錯誤給抹掉。
