Traffic, LA-style

Traffic was moving again this week north of Beijing, where authorities successfully ended a 10-day traffic jam that had stranded motorists along parts of a 60-mile stretch of highway and attracted plenty of headlines. But you know who wasn’t impressed? The people of Los Angeles. In California’s largest city, without a massive subway or bus system like Beijing’s, highways become giant parking lots almost every day. Let’s go live to Los Angeles to interview veteran drivers Todd and Candy who are, well, stuck in a traffic jam.

Worst Case Scenario

Traffic jams are the not a worst case scenario participants in the popular US TV show Worst Case Scenario. Here, ordinary people are asked what they would do if faced with an extraordinary things. Did you know China had its own version of Worst Case Scenario? Let’s join host Andrew Xing for this week’s special episode.
