Eating Habits 飲食習慣

We have learned from the media that British people, more widely western people, don't eat animals' organs, like chicken feet, heads. However, from what I heard, British people quite fancy goose liver. This confused me a lot, can you please offer me some explanation? Thank you.

In the UK, people consume vast quantities of meat products such as chicken, beef, pork and lamb.

The nation also loves traditional dishes such as cottage pie, or steak and chips.

At the supermarket, meat products are neatly packaged and labelled.

However it’s unlikely any of these products on sale would include animals’ internal body parts.
