China Cultural Center in Singapore is located in No. 217 Queens Street, downtown of Singapore City. The construction work of the center has been completed. The center contains an exhibition hall, a theater, a library, fitting rooms and training rooms.

Liu Thai Ker, respectfully addressed as "Father of Plan in Singapore", hosted the design of the center and put Chinese elements into the center. "Chinese doors and windows are taller and narrower than those in western countries," Liu said to reporters from People's Daily.

Red color is commonly seen in Chinese architecture. Liu adjusted the colors many times to eventually gain the Chinese red.

Members in Liu's design team had gone to Singapore and Malaysia to find proper gray tiles for the center and they finally found the tiles in eastern China's Shandong province.

During his state visit to Singapore from Nov. 6 to 7, 2015, China's President Xi Jinping will inaugurate the China Cultural Center with Goh Chok Tong, honorary "Emeritus Senior Minister" and watch a performance in the center.

Staff members were busy doing preparation works for inauguration of the center on Nov. 5, 2015. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Singapore. A total of 50 masterpieces from 25 Chinese artists and 25 Singaporean artists have been arranged in the center.

"The number has special meanings. 25 means 25-year of diplomatic ties and 50 means the 50th anniversary of the foundation of Singapore," said the director of the center.
