China has become an important contributor to the development of Internet in the world instead of a country merely benefiting from it, said a member of the Professional Committee of Computer Security of China Computer Federation.

"A number of Chinese Internet companies are ranked among the first in the world, creating a miraculous daily transaction record of more than 91.2 billion yuan ($14.1 billion) and spearheading a brand new highly efficient business model," Du Yuejin, a computer security?expert wrote in a commentary.

China also makes successful innovations in making use of the Internet to help the underdeveloped regions achieve economic development while taking advantage of big data technology to promote development in the social credit system.

"Chinese innovation can actually benefit the whole world because they grow both the commerce and manufacturing industry which improves the quality of people's life in the underdeveloped regions creating new and equal employment opportunities," said Du.

Chinese government and Chinese companies are willing to share with the world their successful experiences so that more people can benefit from tested innovations and the Second World Internet Conference provides just that, an opportunity for sharing, said Du.

The Second World Internet Conference will be held on December 16–18 in the picturesque water town of Wuzhen, Zhejiang province. The conference is expected to attract more than 2,000 guests from over 120 countries and regions.
