COPENHAGEN - A commercial aircraft with 148 passengers on board made an emergency landing at Denmark's Billund airport Tuesday owing to a burst tyre.
No one was hurt in the incident, airport authorities said.
The plane, owned by Danish operator Jet Time, had taken-off from Billund, the main airport in western Denmark, around 7:00 am Tuesday and was heading for the Azores.
According to Billund Airport Director Keld Zacho Joergensen, one of the aircraft's tyres burst during take-off.
But the plane landed "normally" shortly after 9:00 am Tuesday, he told Denmark's public broadcaster DR News.
