Brave resignation leads to marriage

In our previous report, a middle school teacher in Zhengzhou, Henan province has caused a buzz on social media for her 10-character resignation letter: "The world is so big, I want to explore it." Well, since resigning so memorably, she has found love and settled down in Chengdu, Sichuan province.

The teacher, Gu Shaoqiang, met her husband Yu Fu, a native of Chengdu, Sichuan province, when she was volunteering at a coffee shop in Dali, during her spring festival holiday this year.

The pair soon found they were made for each other and quickly decided to get together within two months, after a temporary separation when they got back to their normal routines after the holiday.

Finally, we know what happened to Gu after she took a leap of faith and quit her job, and got married to Yu in Chengdu. This is the first time Gu has revealed details about her personal life to the public.

When asked about her new life in Chengdu, which hardly qualifies as "seeing the world", Gu said, "My husband is my world, anytime and anywhere."

In our next story, 'Spartans' detained in Beijing for disturbing public order.
