Members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) inspected the Xi'an International Trade and Logistics (ITL) Park on Feb 21.
At the China-Europe Freight Train Operation Center, members listened to the report on the operation of the China-Europe Chang'an freight train and discussed relevant issues.

In 2018, the China-Europe Chang'an freight train ranked first in terms of total annual shipping volume, heavy-duty rates, and freight volume.
At the Xi'an Railway Container Center Station and Aiju Food Emergency Logistics Center, the members also learned about the construction of the railway hub, highway hub, and portal of Xi'an Port, as well as Aiju Group's response to the national Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
Han Yong, a member of the CPPCC and chairman of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, suggested that ITL Park should take measures to further reduce the operating costs of enterprises taking advantage of the China-Europe Chang'an freight train in order to promote foreign trade in Shaanxi.
