Shanghai Airport Scientific Festival kicks off
The opening ceremony of the Shanghai Airport Group Workers' Scientific Festival and Special Vehicles Inspection Ceremony kicked off on the apron of Hongqiao International Airport on June 3.
The approximately 49 special vehicles for inspection were divided into four types: passenger service vehicles such as VIP vehicles and luggage vehicles, airplane service vehicles such as tractors and power vans, road service vehicles such as watering carts and snow removal trucks, and emergency vehicles such as ambulances and fire trucks.
The Shanghai Airport Group Workers Union has organized the Workers' Scientific Festival since 2007 to give workers with good technical skills a chance to display their skills and achievements. This year's scientific festival will last for half a year and will include the Workers' Skill Competition.
The average technical capacity of workers has been greatly improved by such activities. The Shanghai Airport Group has been recognized as a "National Advanced Unit in Skill Competitions" and has received several other awards at the municipal level over the years.
