A TV series produced by Xi'an Qujiang TV and Film Co received the best artistic contribution award at the 18th Shanghai Television Festival, which closed in Shanghai last week.

Called Xiao Mai Going to the City, the 34-episode drama was praised by the award committee and the audience. The drama told the story of multi-cultural convergence of history and modernization involving rural and urban families.
