Yunnan Wildlife Park started to offer nighttime park tours on August 10, making it the third animal park in China that opens at night.
A park employee said that visitors can see about 30 to 40, mostly nocturnal, species during the night park tour, and many people find that the raccoons are the most fascinating. Visitors can offer them apples and use a flashlight as they tour the park.
The park receives a maximum of 100 visitors each night, and the night tour starts at 7pm and continues until midnight.
The entrance ticket for the tour is 100 yuan($16.33), dinner included. Members of the public should call, or visit the park’s website, to book a ticket 24 hours in advance.
