The first Shouzhou Makex Robot Challenge Competition targeting teenagers in Shouzhou city opened at the local Shuozhou No 9 Primary School on Jan 21.

Sponsored by Shuozhou Association for Science and Technology, the competition attracted nearly 100 local primary and middle school students aged 9 to 15.

Focusing on robotics, the event aims to guide teenagers to systematically study multidisciplinary subjects including engineering, art and mathematics, stimulate the enthusiasm to create things in young people, and inspire teens to love technology through collaboration on challenging projects.
