Qingdao Data, the first integrated information platform, was opened to the public on the fourth China Statistics Day on Thursday.
Qingdao has taken a lead among other counterparts in integrating data collection, administration, issuance, search and application into a one multi-functional platform. The platform is considered a ground-breaking success that will largely facilitate work in various fields such as information administration, administrative decision-making, scientific assessment and data analysis.
Statistics provided by Qingdao Data cover all information of municipal development in all walks of life in Qingdao and hence serve as a great contribution to public services. Compared with previous platforms, Qingdao Data has improved its function for information collecting, providing over 160 assessment forms involving 1,000 plus indexes. It also offers personalized services for different tiers of users online. Under the management of the city’s government, it shares information provided by governmental departments and organizations for the public.
