A website providing transportation information and services in Zhangjiagang of Jiangsu province opened to the public on September 8.

Using a phone app, residents can check real-time locations of buses in the city to save time.

The app is the first of its kind in the province.

The app now provides information on more than 500 buses for over 40 routes. It is expected to cover all routes by the end of the year.

Services for booking tickets, registering for driving school and renting cars are also part of the website.

Functions to call taxis, repair cars and access online stores are being developed.
