The city of Nantong, Jiangsu province, received a group of Sinochem delegates, on May 28, led by Zhang Zhiyin, the vice-president of the Sinochem Group, who were there to talk about further cooperation and construction of a petroleum products logistics center in Nantong.
On hand to greet the guests was Ding Dawei, the Nantong Party secretary, who described the city's success in building a modern logistics center. Ding and other officials reached an agreement on cooperation with Sinochem with Zhang, who described it as a winning idea all around, and added that Sinochem really values the city's services, location, transportation, and potential market and hopes to help build the Sinochem logistics center for its oil products.
The Sinochem Group, one of China's biggest State-owned enterprises in energy, agriculture, chemicals, real estate, and finance, has put 2 billion yuan ($324.6 million) into development in the city.
