The 2013 Hubei Tent Festival will be held in Nanhe Scenic Spot, Gucheng county, from April 13-14. It is expected that this session of the Tent Festival will attract hundreds of outdoor enthusiasts.

Roughly 600 outdoor enthusiasts all across the country will be invited to the activity. A series of colorful activities will be held, including the Xieshan - Nanhe 4/1 Marathon, traversing Donggou Grand Canyon (Nanhe county), speed tent pitching(a pitching tent competition, and the fastest one would win), a "slow" bicycle race, a Xieshan - Nanhe landscape photography activity, a tour-related writing competition, a variety show and a campfire party. The activities are based on travel and will serve as a platform for outdoor enthusiasts, aiming at popularizing and promoting the image of Gucheng.

According to a message from the organizing committee of the Tent Festival, the number of potential visitors has far outpaced the quota for the activity. As a result, group-based registration will no longer be accepted. The organizing committee will check on people who have signed up. If there are any vacancies available, the information will immediately be released in time.
