The Yuping Workstation of Taizhou First People's Hospital was unveiled in Yuping autonomous county, Tongren, Guizhou province on Dec 11.

It is the first medical innovation workstation in Guizhou province to be approved by the Guizhou Association for Science and Technology. More than 10 doctors from Taizhou First People's Hospital have become the first official members of the workstation.

By providing technical guidance and talent training to Yuping, the workstation will combine the development needs of the Yuping medical and hygiene industries and share medical talents, resources, academics and technology.

Yuping will also use the workstation to access the high-quality medical resources of Taizhou First People's Hospital, using it to improve local medical technology and scientific research.

Guizhou medical innovation workstations are important platforms for improving independent innovation and assisting in the advancement of science and technology.

The workstations mainly promote the sharing of resources between locals and academics through strategic cooperation and technical personnel training.

At Present, the Guizhou Association for Science and Technology has already set up 14 medical innovation workstations in nine cities (prefectures) throughout the province. They are involved in environmental protection, precision machinery manufacturing and modern high-efficiency mountain agriculture, and provide intellectual support for Guizhou's development.
