A three-day?agricultural products trade fair kicked off in southwest China's Guizhou province on Aug 21, saw thousands of distinct agricultural products on display and $32-million dollars worth of orders signed when it closed?on Sunday.

The fair, held in the province's capital city Guiyang, is under the theme "Colorful Guizhou, Precious Mountainous Products", with more than 700 companies displaying fruits, vegetables, livestock products, aquatic products, tea, traditional Chinese medicine and agricultural technology.
This was the fourth session of the three-day event, which has been held annually since 2011 and is an important site for agricultural cooperation with provincial government and Agriculture Ministry's support.

The exhibition area covering 25,000 square meters and held 46 special booths and 376 common booths, where hundreds of domestic and overseas companies could show their products, with 39 of them from Malaysia, Taiwan and Macao and 74 from other Chinese provinces.

The organizer says there were more than 300 buyers from China and abroad signed up for the event, which included a Guiyang - Taiwan seminar on urban agriculture with 50 companies on hand to promote their products and favorable prices.
