A press conference for the Eco Forum Global Annual Conference Guiyang 2013 was held on July 12. Conference administrators reviewed preparations for the conference.

The conference will be held in Guiyang from July 19 to 21. State leaders will send their congratulations to the conference. Politicians from countries such as Switzerland, Tonga, Dominica, Thailand and Italy, along with principles from the United Nations Environment Program, world-renowned scholars and entrepreneurs from Fortune 500 companies, will also attend the conference.

The theme of the conference this year is: "Build Eco-Civilization: Transform and Change in a Green Way". The conference will cover topics like green development and industrial transformation, harmonious society and inclusive development, ecological restoration and environmental management, and ecological culture and value orientation.

The Global Eco Forum Guiyang is the only official global forum themed around ecological civilization construction in China, and it is held in Guiyang every year.
