A press conference for the 2014 Fuxi Chinese Ancestors Memorial Ceremony and the 25th China Tianshui Fuxi Cultural Tourism Festival was held in Tianshui city, Northwest China’s Gansu province on Saturday.

In memoriam of Fuxi, the legendary Chinese forefather, and the first of the three Sovereigns who created the Chinese civilization (the others being Nu Wa and Shen Nong), both the mainland and Taiwan conducted an inaugural synchronous ceremony at 9:50 am on June 22.
