Pingnan gets health emergency rescue county status

Pingnan county, Fujian province, passed a provincial Health Department analysis, on Aug 2, to become the first demonstration county for health emergency rescue services in the city of Ningde. The Health Dep’t team watched an application video that Pingnan prepared and listened to a related report, then visited its health department, disease control center, hospital, and schools to see whether the emergency aid team and resources are good enough and asked some questions on emergency aid.

Pingnan has been improving its health emergency management and established two teams to deal with infectious diseases and food-borne diseases, with some first-rate medical personnel. Each of its 31 schools and 154 administrative areas has a liaison person to report any emergencies quickly.
