China has developed its first “open” superconducting nuclear magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system, with magnetic intensity in the 0.5-Tesla to 3.0-Tesla range, aiming to create high-resolution human body imaging.
The independent innovative system is a breakthrough in the MRI field, as it is the world’s first self-adaptive anisotropic structure product in a cryogenic environment.
