A seminar hosted by Hutong Idea Factory was recently held in Zhongguancun's Yonghe Park.

According to the park's administrative committee, the factory aims to solve the problem between historical legacy conservation and industrial cluster development.

After five years, its development and efforts have gained support from the Beijing Tourism Commission and Beijing Development and Reform Commission. The science park will provide better services for the development of Beijing's Hutong culture and to optimize the Hutong environment.

The seminar also raised requirements for the park's future work. The science park's administrative committee will utilize local resources and make an overall plan in light of local conditions.

Because the culture industry in Dongcheng district, where Yonghe Science Park is located, has shifted from a scaled economy to refined economy, the park will also make use of strategic opportunities for expansion.

The Hutong Idea Factory plays a positive role in improving quality of life for resident's in the district and providing more space for industrial development, according to a committee with the science park.
