A total of 13 cities from Henan, Hubei and Anhui province signed a reciprocal tourism agreement on March 30 in an effort to offer ticket discounts to locals.

As proposed by officials from the city of Zhumadian, Henan province, 13 cities including Hefei, Fuyang and Bozhou in Anhui province; Xiangyang, Jinmen and Suizhou in Hubei province; and Pingdingshan, Xuchang, Leihe, Nanyang, Xinyang, Zhoukou and Zhumadian from Henan province, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on tourism in Zhumadian on March 30 to increase tourism cooperation among the cities.

As agreed, from May 2013 to May 2014, citizens from these 13 cities can enjoy discounts or free tickets in off-peak periods (weekends, public holidays and big events excluded). ID cards are required.

A total of 66 scenic spots are involved, 38 of which offer half-price tickets and 28 of which offer free tickets.
