Fuyang intends to attract an investment of 8 billion yuan ($1.23 billion) to build a 1,000-mu (22.7-hectare) theme park, the biggest one in north Anhui province.
A project matchmaking conference for national private enterprises in Anhui will be held in the Dabie Mountains. As of Feb 21, the projects to be introduced in Anhui province have totaled 1,130, with target introduced investment amounting to 2.06 trillion yuan (about $331 billion).
Among the projects, Fuyang's theme park is not the biggest. Hefei's 80 proposed projects include a 30-billion-yuan ($4.8-billion) project developing the 10th TFT-LCD.
