Paris is not only the romantic capital of France, but also a city that continually produces romantic ideas.

Inspired by the love bridge in Paris, French designer Mathieu Tournaire gave birth to the pendant "Lock & Love" series with lovers in mind. The heart lock stands for "forever love", which applies to the whole world. And the love bridge which hangs the numerous locks expresses the best wishes of lovers.

"I love the symbolism of the bridge, because the bridge links people, also linking my father and I, as my father taught me everything about jewelry and how to see the world in a different way with an artistic eye," Mathieu Tournaire said at the Beijing Sparkle Roll luxury expo 2013.

This is his fourth visit to China and he is looking forward to opening a boutique here, as it is still not convenient for Chinese customers to purchase his products.

Soon, the new collection "Lock & Love" will be available in China through the website. His company is working with Tmall, China's major retail website, with a deal expected to be in place within two months.

"Lock & Love" has different shapes of bridges and locks, with various sizes and materials for buyers to choose and fit them together. The locks can be locked on the bridge, or can be a stand-alone pendant.

Moreover, the jewelry box for the "Lock & Love" series is also special, as it comes with a secret place to hide love letters, keys or other important items.

Philippe Tournaire, the founder of the brand and Mathieu's father, was also inspired by the city of Paris. He turned the Eiffel Tower upside down in his head, and then the ring "Champs Elysées Kiss" came out. It was a sudden hit and was awarded "the annual best jewelry design 2011 award" by Chinese magazine Bazaar Jewelry.

In the future, Mathieu Tournaire said they will focus on its unique theme of architecture and design jewelry using symbolism all the way through. He also revealed that they will work on the Great Wall next year. Thus far they have already put Paris, New York, Shanghai, London, and Chinese pagodas on their special rings.
