An exhibition of tri-colored glazed pottery from the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907) opened at the Henan Museum in Zhengzhou, capital of Central China's Henan province, on Tuesday.

Tang Dynasty tri-colored glazed pottery, or Tangsancai, is a type of glazed pottery that was very popular during that era. Its dominant colors are yellow, brown and green. Tangsancai works can tell a lot about the colorful life of the Tang people.

The exhibition showcased dozens of Tang Sancai works, including 10 items collected by the Taibei National Museum of History in China's Taiwan, which are on display in the Chinese mainland for the first time.

The exhibition will last till March 20.
