The photographic works of Li Zhisen, a photographer of Dai ethnic group, are mainly centered on Dai people, folk customs, and natural scenes of Xishuangbanna, Li's hometown in Southwest China's Yunnan province.

His recent subject relates to seeing how young people live in Xishuangbanna under the impact of China's social transformation.

Through Li's lens, the restlessness of youth, fashion chasing and longing for better life are reflected, but the Dai youths know that only through hard work, they can create wealth.
