Braced for a second rocky ride

After a pulsating, roller coaster ride at Trent Bridge, England and Australia have decamped to Lord's, where the second Test starts on Thursday.
England's victory in Nottingham was a much closer contest than many pundits were suggesting when the Aussies arrived in England, and the plaudits should go to two men; James Anderson, who took 10 wickets in the game, and Ian Bell, whose 109 in England's second innings was surely one of the best knocks of his international career.
Anderson was simply sensational and England's management must be tempted to wrap the Lancastrian in cotton wool between games, so valuable has he become to his team's fortunes.
