After five years of development, the Xi'an International Trade and Logistics Park is shaping into a center for high-end service enterprises, local leaders say.

The park is meant to be an engine for sustainable growth in the landlocked city that is China's traditional hub for trade with the west of the Eurasian continent.

It represents a new model that stresses quality, said Xi'an Deputy Mayor Han Song, who is responsible for overseeing the park for the city.
