Singles and wannabes set to party

By Wang Wen | China Daily | Updated: 2010-11-10 07:53

This year is likely to see a larger-than-usual celebration of Single Men's Day on Nov 11, with not only the footloose and fancy-free partying but also those who want to be.

About 70 percent of married office workers in the capital said in a survey released by zhaopin.com on Tuesday that they miss their single days.

The online survey, which was conducted during a two-week period among 1,000 office workers from Beijing and 2,000 white-collar workers from other big cities, shows that nearly 58 percent of married respondents occasionally miss being single and 12 percent miss those days frequently.
