Reporters squeezing into crowds to try to interview the two sessions' attendees is nothing new.

But this year, there is a new trend.

Reporters and deputies or members add each other on WeChat, the most popular social network in China. An increasing number of deputies and members have started using WeChat to promote their suggestions and proposals. Some of them join the WeChat media group to convey their ideas to the reporters.

Besides, Central China Television has cooperated with WeChat to help people receive two session reports by using the "Shake" feature.

The two sessions also made apps of their own, which function as a platform for attendees to find out the latest news about the meetings.
