CHANGSHA - The death toll from a boat capsizing early on Tuesday in Central China's Hunan Province has risen to three after rescuers salvaged one more body, the local government said.
As of 4 p.m. on Tuesday, three people remain missing after the boat capsized at 6:30 a.m. in Sanlixi Reservoir in Taoyuan County, according to the county government.
Ten people were on board, including nine members of a waist drum-playing team and the ship's owner, when the accident occurred.
The boat overturned during sudden strong gales, according to an initial investigation.
Rescue operations are still under way.
