(China Daily)
Updated: 2007-02-02 09:00

Fifteen percent of senior middle school students tend to choose violence to resolve disputes with peers, the results of a survey indicate.

The survey of 1,444 students, conducted by Against Child Abuse from October to December, also found 7 percent had been involved in a physical fight in the past half-year. Another 11 percent said they dealt with anger by binge eating.

About 76 percent of the polled said they had arguments with parents, mostly over playing games, surfing the Internet and untidy rooms.
