Speaking to a group of U.S. business leaders, Wu also urged the United States to end restrictions on exports of advanced technology goods to China. She said an end to the restrictions would significantly increase U.S. exports to China.

"I believe the floating band of the renminbi exchange rate will continue to expand as the market changes in the future," she said.
