Beijing will invest 1 billion yuan in building a new "Grand View Garden" in northeast Beijing's suburban Huairou District for the remake of the TV series The Dream of the Red Mansion, for which shooting will start in October.

Beijing Youth Daily quoted Huairou District authorities as saying the new garden, named Changqing TV Creation Industry Garden, will be located by the lake resort of Yanqi. Construction and decoration work are expected to start in June and will be finished by the end of September.
