Qingdao Quick Boy Youth Football Club announced its new financing partner and new board members in Qingdao on January 20, marking the club's new round of financing after being founded for nine years.

Epipelagic Ventures, which had established a branch in Qingdao's Laoshan district in December, made its debut as the club's new partner. Kang Lei, chairman of the company, pledged to inject international capital and resources into the club and wished a professional future for the players.

Qu Bo, founder of the club, introduced the club's history and new shareholders. According to Qu, the club has elite teams at five levels: U8, U11, U13, U15, and U17. Players from the U17, U15, and U13 teams have been selected for the Chinese Football Association training list in their respective age groups.

From 2022 to 2024, the club has won championships in Qingdao in the China Youth Football League across multiple age groups. Since 2023, the club has represented the city in the Chinese Football Association Member Association Champions League for two consecutive years. In the 2024 season, all the players representing the club on the field were selected from the club’s youth training and had an average age of 17.
