Guizhou National Data Element Comprehensive Pilot Zone approved
The National Data Administration recently approved the establishment of the Data Element Comprehensive Pilot Zone in Southwest China's Guizhou province. The zone is another national-level project in Guizhou, following the National Big Data Comprehensive Pilot Zone and the Digital Economy Development Innovation Zone.
It is expected to advance the construction of data infrastructure systems, nurture the data element market, and play a leading role in demonstration and guidance in Guizhou.
In recent years, Guizhou has conducted experiments in data infrastructure innovation, data center integration, resource sharing, development, circulation and trading, and the cultivation of the data industry.
According to the requirements, the Data Element Comprehensive Pilot Zone should promote the circulation and use of data elements. The goal is to explore data value releases that align with regional characteristics, further stimulate the vitality of business entities, and expand the data element market.
Guizhou will address key tasks such as constructing data infrastructure, establishing a data resource system, developing and utilizing data, data-driven industrial development, and data security governance.
The province aims to become a national example by building the Data Element Comprehensive Pilot Zone and contributing to policy initiatives for the national data infrastructure system.
