The Georgian Government on Wednesday said it had decided to declare Thursday a day of mourning following the fatal fire accident in the village of Saberio in the Gali district of the Abkhazia region in the north-west of the country, which claimed the lives of five minors.

Under the Decree of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, national flags will fly at half-mast at all government buildings across the country on the day of mourning, the Government Administration said.

The Government once again expressed its condolences to the family and relatives of the minors killed after the fire broke out in a house in the village of Saberio on Sunday.
