Shanghai Airlines plans new flights to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok
China Eastern Air Holding Co Ltd's Shanghai Airlines is planning to launch two new international flights from Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, to Southeast Asian destinations of Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, according to the Shanghai-based carrier.
Traveling via Yuncheng of Shanxi province, the route between Changchun and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will officially open on December 12, and the flight will run every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The Changchun-Bangkok route will go via Shanghai Pudong International Airport and debut on December 15. It will operate seven days a week.
The two new international flights are expected to provide passengers in Jilin and Shanxi provinces with more convenient air travel experience to Southeast Asian destinations.
Along with the gradual recovery of the global aviation market, the Shanghai airline is constantly looking to respond to the market requirement with continuously optimized air network, according to the airliner.
