Around 1,000 international delegates are attending the conference. Among them are students who have participated in Luban Workshops, outreach programs designed to share China's vocational education experience while bolstering the Belt and Road Initiative. There are 33 Luban workshops in 29 countries across Asia, Africa and Europe.

To date, the workshops have provided educational qualifications to 20,000 individuals and skills training to 35,000. As a result, Chinese and foreign institutions have established more than 60 global teaching standards and 133 sets of three-dimensional education resources.
