Care & Rehabilitation Expo China 2024 to take place in Beijing
The Care & Rehabilitation Expo China 2024 will open in Beijing on Nov 28, the organizers said on Wednesday. The three-day exhibition will present some state-of-the-art auxiliary facilities and devices using AI and big data technologies to benefit the elderly and people with disabilities.
This year's expo is the 17th edition after it was first launched by the China Disabled Persons' Federation from 2007.
According to the latest release by the federation, the expo this year will attract over 300 exhibitors from home and abroad focusing on auxiliary facilities and device research and manufacturing, who offer solutions to living problems of elderly and people with disabilities on accommodation, traveling, healthcare and entertainment.
In addition to some top-notch assistive devices or technologies by domestic companies and universities, 58 international brands from 15 countries and regions including Australia, Denmark and Japan will showcase their latest developed technologies and products on walking or hearing aids, also other auxiliary facilities and devices supporting the life of people with disabilities, according the federation.
The federation said that transforming technological researches into practical uses is key to optimize people living with disabilities living quality. It will keep following the people living with disabilities need for auxiliary facilities and devices and encouraging companies, universities and research institutes to develop affordable, safer and efficient devices to let the elderly and people with disabilities get the benefits, said the federation.
