An exhibition titled Light of the Sun: A Dialogue Between Ancient Shu and Inca Civilizations is currently underway at the Inka Museum in Cusco, Peru.

The event, which will run until Nov 20, features replicas of 16 representative artifacts from the Sanxingdui Museum and the Jinsha Site Museum in Southwest China's Sichuan province and seven sets of cultural relics from the Inka Museum.

Mohenir Julinho Zapata Rodriguez, director of the Inka Museum, said that through this exhibition, he hopes to deepen the friendship between China and Peru further and narrow the cultural exchange distance between the ancient Shu and Inca civilizations.
