Australia ending anti-dumping measures against China 'helpful' for ties
Australia's recent decision to terminate the anti-dumping and countervailing duty measures on Chinese stainless steel sinks, this will help deepen the economic and trade cooperation between the two sides, leading to more win-win outcomes, the Ministry of Commerce said on Thursday.
China and Australia are important trading partners, and the two sides have reached a consensus on properly resolving trade disputes within the WTO framework, which has contributed to the stable and sound development of bilateral economic and trade ties, said He Yadong, the spokesman for the ministry, at a news conference.
China has actively advocated addressing economic and trade frictions through dialogue and negotiations, and expressed its willingness to work with all trade partners, including Australia, to accommodate each other's legitimate concerns and jointly maintain a fair and stable international trade environment, He added.
