Over 4,500 experts, representatives to take part in international education expo

China Annual Conference and Expo for International Education will open this month, with the main events taking place from Oct 31 to Nov 2 in Beijing.

The theme of this year's conference is Education for All, the Unknown and the Future, according to the organizer China Education Association of International Exchange.

The conference will feature nearly 100 educational exchange activities across six key segments, including plenary sessions, parallel forums, and education exhibition.

More than 4,500 education experts and representatives from over 60 countries and regions are expected to attend the conference, further strengthening the global platform for inclusive dialogue in education.

The conference will host 40 themed forums, discussing heated topics such as applying artificial intelligence in education and vocational education overseas.

Additionally, 13 reports and studies related to international education will be unveiled during the conference, such as the report on international cooperation in running education programs, aiming to provide innovative pathways for advancing high-quality education.

Special guests delivering keynote speeches will include Nadia Paredes, president of the American Art Therapy Association, Ryo Takeuchi, Japanese documentary filmmaker, and Shen Zhijun, director of Hongshan Forest Zoo in Nanjing, Jiangsu province.

Meanwhile, the International Education Expo will be held from Oct 26 to Nov 2, touring Guangzhou in Guangdong province, Shanghai, Chengdu in Sichuan province, and Beijing.

The expo will include 18 official delegations and more than 380 educational institutions from 38 countries and regions. It will host 57 seminars and activities on studying abroad, according to the organizer.
