The launch of the new book Finance for Foreigners: An Essential Guide (Foreigners Edition) and the online financial convenience service map was held in Beijing recently, facilitated by the Beijing branch of the National Financial Regulatory Administration and hosted by the Beijing Bankers Association, the Beijing Insurance Association, and the Beijing Insurance Intermediary Association.

The newly released guide integrates international and modern perspectives, catering specifically to the expatriates’ needs. Published in both Chinese and English, it comprehensively covers all aspects of financial services for foreigners in China and abroad, from making daily payments to investments and business ventures. The guide aims to assist expatriates in achieving convenience in financial transactions while showcasing the unique charm of China’s financial market.

Meanwhile, the launch of the financial convenience service map marks financial internationalization and the enhancement of convenient services for foreigners. More than 1,700 banks and insurance institutions in Beijing have achieved high standards and shared financial resources. Additionally, the feedback system and English services provide more convenient and precise financial service navigation for both local citizens and expatriates.

Lu Jian, an official of the Beijing branch of the National Financial Regulatory Administration, said the content of the series of guides is consumer-oriented as it meets the diverse and multi-level financial service needs of the people.

Furthermore, the Beijing branch of the National Financial Regulatory Administration will continue to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of financial consumers, ensuring that financial policies and services are more closely aligned with the needs of the public. They aim to embrace new opportunities for global financial cooperation, promote the exchange and integration of financial cultures, and jointly create a new blueprint for global finance.
