Mengniu CEO partners with Michelin chef on French desserts
CEO of China's dairy giant Mengniu Lu Minfang joined with Michelin-starred French chef Corentin Delcroix to prepare desserts with the company's products and have conversations with the consumers through an interactive livestream event in Shanghai on Friday.
During the "CEO's Kitchen" livestream, part of Mengniu's activities for World Consumer Rights Day, Lu and Delcroix prepared classic French desserts using yogurt while discussing ingredients, techniques of the products, and France's cuisine culture with online viewers.
A highlight was their collaborative creation of a dessert inspired by Mengniu's osmanthus-flavored pudding yogurt. They explained the origins of the recipe and provided insight into choosing quality ingredients.
To exemplify the diversity of French patisserie, the event also featured a dessert wall with 100 pastries on display for guests to appreciate the artistry.
"With premium ingredients, skillful methods, and ample time, you'll make excellent products," said Lu, emphasizing Mengniu's commitment to delighting consumers with Mengniu's offerings through such events.
Supplementing the cooking demonstrations, other livestream segments featured Mengniu executives sharing nutrition topics related to various dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese with over 16.5 million viewers.
