Gourmet extravaganza at HK's Caprice to celebrate Galliot
In honor of executive chef Guillaume Galliot's two-decade legacy in Asia, Caprice, the prestigious three-Michelin-starred French restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, has unveiled an extraordinary gastronomic affair.
Since Jan 17, Galliot has been collaborating with 26 globally acclaimed chefs, collectively boasting over 30 Michelin stars, to curate a series of four tasting menus. The final menu will be served on Jan 20.
The guest chefs are working alongside Caprice's team, including chef de cuisine Suveg Kavatkar, and pastry chef Yann Riedmuller, to create unforgettable dining experiences.
"I am both thrilled and humbled to be joined by esteemed chefs from around the world in celebrating this milestone in my culinary journey in Asia. They are all good friends whom I have the pleasure of meeting along the way," Galliot said.
"Together at Caprice, we celebrate friendship and share our passion for cooking, while inspiring one another to greater heights on this adventure," he added.
During the four-night event, Galliot is collaborating with six chefs a night to create a special tasting menu, each of which is an interplay of diverse culinary traditions and flavors, expertly crafted by top chefs.
Galliot's culinary journey in Asia began in Singapore, from where he moved to Beijing and Macao, before arriving in Hong Kong to join Caprice in 2017. Caprice was elevated to three stars in the Michelin Guide Hong Kong and Macao 2019, and has retained this status for five consecutive years.
